Shami Kebab

Ingredients

-250gm / 250gm minced Meat
-4tbsp / 60gm Gram Lentil
-1pc / 75gm boiled Potato
-0.5tsp / 2.5gm Cumin Seeds
-1tsp / 5gm Fennel Seeds
-1tsp / 4gm Whole Coriander
-2pc / 80gm Green Cardamom
-6pc / 60gm Red Chili Pepper
-1tsp / 6gm Salt
-1pc / 40gm Egg
-4pc / 120gm Clove Garlic
-2tbsp / 24gm Cilantro
-2tbsp / 4gm Mint Leaves
-2pc / 10gm Green Chili
-1tsp / 3gm chopped Ginger
-1tsp / 5gm Allspice
-0as required / 20gm Coconut Oil

Methods

1. Place minced meat, soaked gram lentil, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, whole coriander, green cardamom, whole red chili, salt, ginger and garlic cloves in a pan, boil over low heat with 2 glasses of water.

2. When all ingredients are soft and the water has been completely absorbed, turn off the heat, let cool.

3. Then add in the boiled potato. Chop all the contents in a chopper.

4. Now add egg, coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies and all spice powder, mix well.

5. Make kebabs and fry 3-4 of them at one time to a rich brown color, flipping them once.

6. Remove from pan and put them on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

7. Garnish with green chilies, coriander leaves, sliced onion and lemon.

8. Serve hot with fried rice, chapati and mint sauce!
