1. Heat clarified butter and saute the onions until they are crisp, and turn to golden brown color.
2. Remove onions and set the clarified butter aside.
3. Mix onions in a blender or food processor with ginger, chili, coriander, coconut, garlic, cloves, poppy seeds, cinnamon, and cumin, and blend until smooth.
4. Add spice mixture to the reserved clarified butter. Cook over low flame for 4-5 minutes.
