Ingredients
-2cup / 244gm Corn Flour -0.5cup / 125gm Plain Flour -1tsp / 5gm Cooking Oil -0as per taste / 0gm Salt -0as required / 20gm Water
Methods
1. Combine together maize flour, oil and salt.
2. Knead into a soft pliable dough, adding very little water at a time.
3. When the dough is very smooth and soft, break away a lump.
4. Shape into a ball, flatten and pat with palm to make a thin chapatti using dry plain flour. Or roll with a rolling pin. Dust with flour and lift and turn to avoid sticking.
5. Put on a heavy iron or earthen griddle and roast till crisp.
6. Repeat on both sides. Repeat for all chapattis.
7. Cover and line with napkins to keep warm. Apply clarified butter on the top.
8. Serve hot with Sarson ka Saag and a slice of onion!
