Chivda provides a source of whole grains and healthy fats from nuts. The inclusion of spices not only enhances the flavor but may also have mild anti-inflammatory properties. 1. Heat 1/2 teaspoon oil in a pan. Add poha / chivda and roast on low flame.
2. In another pan add a little oil and roast mustard seeds and peanuts.
3. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, roasted cumin seeds powder and salt. Stir and switch off the gas. Add roasted poha to this and mix. Cool and serve.
