Aate Gond Ke Laddoo is energy-dense due to the combination of whole wheat flour, ghee, and edible gum. Edible gum (gond) adds a protein boost to these laddoos. Protein is essential for muscle repair, immune system function. Whole wheat flour is a good source of complex carbohydrates, providing sustained energy and dietary fiber for digestive health.The addition of ghee (clarified butter) in the laddoos contributes healthy fats and enhances the flavor.
1. Deep fry edible gum on medium heat till it becomes double its size. Remove from fire, crush it into a paste and keep it aside.
2. Fry wheat flour in the remaining ghee until its light brown. It takes around 15- 20 mins but keep it on low flame.
3. Now mix edible gum paste into the fried wheat flour nicely. Let this mixture cool at a temperature which you can handle for making laddoos.(Don’t allow to cool completely as it’ll b difficult to shape it into laddoos later).
4. Now add sugar and dry fruit powder to this. Take small portions and roll them between ur palms to make smooth laddoos. Let cool & store in an air tight container.
